Mission Statement and Commissioners

The Organization
The Mendocino Wingergrape and Wine Commission (MWWC) is a California State Agency formed under California State Law (SB303) in 2006 by the grape growers and wineries in Mendocino County (Crush District 1). It is governed by a Board of Directors elected by its members in accordance with its bylaws and with the guidance of the State of California Department of Food and Agriculture.

The Mendocino Winegrape and Wine Commission (MWWC) is a unique partnership of California vintners and winegrape growers dedicated to enhancing the quality image and the market demand for the wine grapes and wines of Mendocino County while maintaining respect for the local environment.
